Happy Easter!!
Happy Easter from Virginia!
My sister and nieces sent these ears to Rusty. As you can see in the pictures below- he didn't love them, but I thought they were cute.
I also got Rusty an Easter outfit (he didn't like the one I got him either).
I also got him a toy to make up for the outfit- but I couldn't decide between two super cute sheep so I got both, Rusty couldn't decide between them either. (Sorry about the heavy breathing in this clip- I'd make a great (if slightly congested) obscene phone caller).

Colonial Sheep
Do you know what's missing from this picture?
Sheep. Rusty and I sometimes visit the sheep that used to be housed in this pen- but they're missing and have been for a while. I started to worry about where the sheep could be. Were they someones dinner? I figured they were part of the tourist attraction and therefore wouldn't get served for dinner (I'm never eating at the Taverns in CW again!) I really didn't think anyone would eat colonial sheep- aren't they indigestible? (you know like Guam)
Then I noticed these sheep,
I'm pretty sure there were no sheep here before- so perhaps the sheep have been shuffled around- at least I'm hoping so. Meanwhile, I'm contemplating becoming a vegetarian- I'll start by swearing off colonial lamb chops.
Rusty also misses the sheep- here he is looking for them.
This guy (girl?) could care less about the sheep.

Monticello
My mom came out for a visit and we decided to drive up to Monticello. I picked a horrible day to drive- the rain was intense which made for some tense moments- why don't people know how to drive in inclement weather? (people probably wonder the same thing about me).
Anyway, we got to Monticello and caught the bus up to the house and had to run through the deluge to the porch- just in time for the rain to let up. By the time we finished the house tour the sun had come out and the grounds were absolutely beautiful! I took some pictures, but they don't really do it justice. I'll share anyway...
